Make your own blog that is 100% customizable and that is completely ad free using free tools. We will be using a free account from www.awardspace.com, free blogging software called Wordpress, and a free FTP client called Filezilla.

when i try to connect on filezilla it says “Connection attempt failed with “EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known”.
how can i resolve this problem???

Question, when you create a free account you have access to a free subdomain. When completing the final setup where you enter the link which includes the Wordpress php setup, you have to enter your domain name. I enter the free subdomain I created and it won’t work. So to answer you Emily I think this video is a bit outdated and you need to register(Pay) for a domain name in order for it to work.

Thanks, Do you have any idea on the different blog sites? I read that some of these will pay you for the people reading your blog. I believe many of the blog sites are used for spaming.
