Blackwater Said to Pursue Bribes to Iraq After 17 Died
NY TIMES / WASHINGTON — Top executives at Blackwater Worldwide authorized secret payments of about $1 million to Iraqi officials that were intended to silence their criticism and buy their support after a September 2007 episode in which Blackwater security guards fatally shot 17 Iraqi civilians in Baghdad, according to former company officials.

    Great rationalization for murder !
    but… In Modern War
    Most Victims are Children
As wars have developed in the twentieth century, the ratio of civilian deaths to military deaths has changed radically. One hundred years ago 5% of war casualties were civilians. In World War I civilian deaths were about 10%. In World War II, 65%. Tactics of modern wars have shifted casualties to 90% civilians. More than half of these civilian casualties are children less than 14 years of age.

As long as we are taking the fight to the Muslims bent on our destruction, I am good with it. The radical Islamists want you dead. Anything that results in more dead radical Islamists makes me happy! Call me infidel.

Another Lawsuit Targets Founder of Blackwater:

The latest case accuses Blackwater founder Erik Prince of personally directing murders from a 24-hour remote monitoring “war room” at the private military company’s Moyock, N.C., headquarters.

On more than one occasion, the suit says, Prince’s men went “night hunting” in helicopters after 10 p.m. over the streets of Baghdad, wearing night goggles, killing at random.

Federal Prosecutors Say Blackwater ‘Specifically Intended to Kill’ Civilians

The US governments allegations back-up the explosive testimony of two former Blackwater employees. Govt says Blackwater shot Iraqis as payback for 9/11

It is also significant that federal prosecutors reject any suggestion by Blackwater or the defendants in this case that the men at Nisour Square acted in self-defense in response to an attack by insurgent, as Blackwater alleged from day one.

On July 31, the Obama administration extended Blackwaters Iraq contract, increasing Blackwaters payment by $20 million and bringing the total paid by the State Department to Blackwater for its aviation services in Iraq to $187 million.

Meanwhile, according to federal contract data, on August 13, Blackwater was paid another $23 million on a $156 million security contract in Afghanistan with the US State Department.

Congrad on being a true apologist for straight up murder
    I appreciate the honesty !

Meanwhile, humanity still has a problem with all that blood spilling in the name of the greatest intellectual fraud in history, mainly the concept of god & the 3 monotheist religions as its pusher.

It remains obscene by any stretch of imagination to have women & childrens entrails splattered around for mere profit, sorry ;)

yes its a crusade, yes they are dangerous because they have to be and yes blackwater kills civilians, but also they carry out missions more efficiently than the U.S. military so if the muslims wanna come and kill our people we will return the favor, an eye for an eye

    Great comments also JFWilliam.
It’s hard to believe anyone with a conscience could defend the actions of these Blackwater assassins for hire.
I’d like to know where the so-called UN and the rest of the civilized world is while all these atrocities are constantly taking place? wtf is happening to this planet? The whole damn place has gone insane!
Then you read comments like “they’re just trying to make a living” … wtf? by murdering innocent people? … insane … completely insane!

We Need a Special Prosecutor for Blackwater and Other CIA “Contractors”

Blackwaters web of connections includes a Whos Who of former Bush-era CIA officials. And thats just one company in a sea of private contractors

Now we learn (unsurprisingly) that Blackwater offered foreign operatives to work on the CIA assassination program. Blackwater told the CIA that it could put people on the ground to provide the surveillance and support — all of the things you need to conduct an operation,
