    The cut button works if you highlight the segment to be cut, and if the video track is not locked, and if you don’t have an open zoom or other effects window on the screen.

    im just wondering… it isnt happening something when im clicking at the cut button and i really want to cut some of my clips please help

    you could also put off the option “dont enable preview window”. found under tools-options-and 1 of the tabs, found in the tools of the camtasia recorder. Note that I’ve used Camtasia 6

    Just click ’save’ as soon as you stop recording and the preview won’t play.
