Wii Setup

live.pirillo.com - The Wii is finally unboxed, set up and turned on. I press the “A” button to sync the Wiimote with the console. Time to choose the language, and set the date. Let’s walk through the rest of the setup now.

you have to buy wii points, just like with xbox live. you can use a credit card or buy a card with x # of points on it and activate it. a 2000 point card is $20 and will buy you 4 NES games. as the systems get closer to present day consoles the point cost of the games goes up so like n64 games are i think 1000 points

the wii is alright, the games do get boring because most of them are party games and not single player and online is bad but the wii menu is awesome and you can send pictures to your friends and internet, news, weather, and mii channel

i kinda want a wii… i will probably get it for my bday. is it worth it? cause i hear the games get boring and the online isn’t that good. if someone can reply and/or message me with all the strengths and weaknesses of it then that’d be great. but it’d be closer if not in september of 2009 when i can think of it. Maybe if I decide to get one I can get codes!
