Do you know how to get rid of the white/green static line on the bottom of the screen, after you render it in Pinnacle?

the program you use has to have the ability to split your parts and render each one, termed batch rendering.

Great vid! Very usefull! I just wanna ask, Is there a way to make many videos out of one long clip or do you just have to make one video then reopen and edit for the next part and make the next vid that way…if you get what im saying (for making lets plays)

need to be converted to a format Camtasia will understand, or use a program that can read HD video format.

I made some Sony Vegas tutorial vids for the settings. Check my playlists.

Your trying to record off of Camtasia? I must have misread your comment. I though you had troubles with narration.

I have the same issue then. I record gameplay with Windows Movie Maker and edit and record narration with Camtasia.

the in-game audio should be recorded from the dazzle. the microphone will be used to capture your voice, then you merge them together.

if you are recording from the screen using an emulator (which this tutorial doesnt cover) then you cant use camtasia to record your voice if you are using it to record the screen, since you can have only one source active at a time.
The only way to do that is use the mic to record sound directly from speakers and you at the same time.

It still doesn’t work. Maybe it’s the way my speakers are set up? I’ve tried plugging in my monitor and speaker’s audio, but it still says there’s nothing to record but my microphone.

What you do is when you import your video, on the track the Video takes up and Video 1 and the Audio (The game sound) takes up Audio track 1.

So basically when you record your voice (If your recording narration from camtasia) you set it so it’s recording from Audio Track 2 not 1.

Hope this helps unless you already figured it out. :P
