Chronological is a great idea. But, as you’ve found, not always practical. And like you, i feel most of my posts are not time sensitive. That’s not really a conscious decision, just the way it goes.

I always find that there’s so much to see that while I mostly look at things chronologically, by the time I get to them they are no longer relevant… I try to keep my output as far away from time-sensitive as possible probably for that reason… As is often the case, you made me think :)

Thanks. I’m not sure i can add anything to your comment.
As for the length of the video. I had a feeling it might be a long one. But, i didn’t think i’d end up talking for 21 minutes! Thanks for staying the course :)

Like you, i use the Internet for a mixture of reasons & increasingly so. Balance is the key, i think.

Probably not for ST4 i’m afraid. More details later :)

Thanks guys & thanks for the inspiration, once again. As i said, it’s a topic that get’s me thinking & talking. As you noticed!
I look forward to your next installment.

Yes, i’m hoping to return to the USA in 2010. No more details as yet. But, if i’m anywhere near you, i’d love to meet up too :)

When Teddy heard it was going to be a long vlog, he just couldn’t bear to look.
Funnily enough, this comment has just inspired me to do a vlog. I have no idea when it will get posted.
It’s fine for you to curl up & read a book. If that’s what you want to do, that’s exactly what you should do. Nobody should be forced to get connected any more than they want to :)

You made a lot of good points there Andy about the internet opening up new horizons and possibilities. I see it as a sort of social research tool too. I find I’m constantly learning new things, or exploring new avenues of thought about things I hadn’t considered before.
Excellent video, and the 21 minutes just whizzed by!

I find that I am dependant on the internet for social and personal reasons. I have yet to make the leap to twitter and facebook for the same reason, I dont want those two worlds connected. Not yet anyway. Coming back? For ST4 maybe? :-)

BTW - We will be looking forward to hearing any details about you coming back over next year. If there were any chance at all of meeting you, we would be more than happy to.

Excellent!! 20+ minutes well spent Andy.
One of the misfortunes of social media is the time difference around the world. It sometimes make it difficult to interact in “real time”. You made so many good points, but that was what we were hoping for. And as always, you did not disappoint. This really is what it is all about. Unfortunitely we are doomed to be capped at 10 minutes. LOL
Thanks again Andy. We really do appreciate it.

The Teddy isn’t facing the right way, Andy.
I am not very connected - I try to keep up since my grandson keeps nagging me about the modern “connected” age, but… I just like to read too much. I am just fine, curled in my lazy chair, by the fire, reading a book. Sometimes, music is playing.
Yes, I know - I should be “out there” and I agree that my horizons could be and SHOULD be expanded. I guess I am just lazy. And things just move too fast these days. - roc

I’m not sure it’s a question of being clever. I’m just inquisitive.

I really liked that video of yours. I loved the random nature of it, so it was a pleasure to “feature” it :)

I’m not the most clever social media hack. I wish I was! Perhaps I would have more viewers.
I must say just how FLOORED I was when I saw that you featured my humble vid!! Too kind
