put something under the floyd so it wont fall back. a big battery or something.. then u tune it up and when u take the battery away after tuning it should stay up

Well locking down the nuts when pitched isnt correct. because i pitched my guitar go to standard E and cant even make the C u have to tune with the nuts open. than lock it and fine tuning.

    Andrew,

When you take off all the strings at once, how do you get the floyd level again once it’s recessed back into the body? It seems like it’s hard to tune up to standard again because the floyd rose pulls the strings so close to the fretboard and they can’t even ring out. Is there any way to fix this without blocking the tremolo?

    Hi Andrew.

It is true that you don´t HAVE too change them one at a time - it does not damage your guitar to remove all the strings.
Nevertheless it sure is a LOT easier to get the guitar back in tune if you change the strings one by one, especially if you take the time to bend and re-tune each string after installing it until it does not drop in tuning after excessive bending.

that’s true.. but like all guitarists level the tremelo after re-stringing it- so i thought i could see that, and he totally skipped the part i was waiting for. .major bummer

    Low E String Breakage…

Something else is going on there, time to
take those guitars into a shop and let a repairman look at it.

    Thanks for watching,

    Hello RideTheLightning83,

That oil is called, “Woodwind Bore Oil.”

You can find it at most woodwind horn supply shops at the music stores.

    Thanks for watching,
    Andrew W.
