HowTo: Get HD With Camtasia Studio [Crystal Clear Quality] Remake
19 Dec, 2009 | Posted by | under How To Videos
A tutorial showing you how to obtain and get the HD quality on YouTube. This is how I render my videos in Camtasia Studio. This also works for Facebook video and possibly other video hosting websites such as Vimeo. I remade this video because some people said I talked too fast in the previous one. So here’s the new video. It was difficult for me to delete that video with so many views / comments
YOU MUST HAVE QUICKTIME PLAYER INSTALLED TO CHOOSE .MOV FORMAT: Download Quicktime Player …

single/multi pass - yes, multi pass is better BUT at this point, if you did multi pass, you wouldn’t really be able to tell a difference and it would add A LOT more rendering time than needed (not worth the unnoticeable quality)
30 fps is just to make it slightly smoother for cursor purposes. 3 key frames because that’s what I was told from my teacher (:

whats difference between multi/single pass? isnt multi better quality?
why 30fps and 3 key frame?

@nantoc007 That should be HD if you ripped a movie at 1280×720 with 5000 bir rate.
No, do not re render the movie in Camtasia, when you re-render ANYTHING, it will lose quality by slightly, so basically, try to reduce re-rendering as much as possible, unless it’s divX or something

what if i convert a dvd movie with 1280×720 and video bit rate is 5000 upload to youtube already set it to HD, do i still have to use Camtasia for better quality?

I’m using techsmith compression. I record at 60 frame rate, key frames every 3 frames.
foxstriker10 | December 19th, 2009 at 4:50 pm #
Are you using techsmith compression when you click the record button? If you are can you send me the settings you have for frame rate and key frames?
