Kate Blanchett is Australian, not English as you described

Meryl should win, she’s the best actress of today, and shes been nominated so many times…and also she was the Best of the year.

Sandra was great, but she doesn’t deserve the Oscar for simple reasons.
    *She’s nominated at the Razzies
*This is the only nod she will ever have in her career
*Her role could’ve been played by any other good actress, I mean, it’s nothing special
*Meryl portrayed a true woman with such perfection and she can’t be the Best Living Actress with only 1 Academy Award for Best Actress

But again, Meryl will be robbed and Sandra will join a group of ”1 nod, 1 win” like Roberts, Berry & Whitherspoon.

Although they are all talented actresses but somehow, when it comes to acting, Meryl Streep is a step ahead. My vote goes for her.

There is no doubt that there is a lot of talented actresses this year but there is only one winner for 2010 and that has to be Meryl Streep (in my opinion) she is a brilliant actress and lots of class and is very humble and should have won a few before this PLEASE LET IT BE MERYLS TURN

Carey is a gorgeous actress. She is new but really has something, she is my vote.

Zoe Saldana was left out. Her role in Avatar was the best acting I have ever seen. Although most audience members were captivated by solely the visuals of the film, I was captivated by her acting. She really made the story in that film. If she hadn’t been so good, no one would have cared. The Blindside is a film where the story cared the film, not the actors. It is the same story that is told again and again. Football and hope.

I don’t know why but i don’t think that Sandra Bullock will win, I’m gonna take a risk and say that Gabourey Sidibe will win (or am i saying that just because i hope she wins?).

Objectively? Well, Sandra Bullock is the Jennifer Aston of today. Anyone can do all the roles she has played. She always plays “Sandra Bullock.”. However, none can play Julia Child just as easily.

though she is young Isabella Furman showed a impressive amount of courage, and good acting to star in a movie like Orphan. Which is one of 2009 or 2010’s most successful horror films. She played a believeable role, and went well with Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgard.
