Is there an IDE version of an SSD? My system has 2 IDE drives. One for Windows( it doesn’t play well with others) and one for everything else. I’d like to upgrade them both.

isn’t the lifespan less then the tradition hard drive? Even though the reading is faster I hear that the biggest problem with SDD is the write.

more ram? faster video card? turn Aero and visual effets off?, faster processor and yes an SSD. if you are a gamer chances are you have 64 bit vista, and a LOT of things will speed things up, i have never had a problem with vista and my gaming experience has never been better
