Delhi court summons 21 social networking sites

A Delhi court on Friday summoned 21 websites – including Facebook, Orkut, Google and YouTube – to face trial on charges of criminal conspiracy among others, for “selling, publicly exhibiting and (circulating) obscene, lascivious content”. The order came three days after a civil court ordered some social networking websites to remove content that might offend religious sentiments.
