There is software im using to send atleast 30,000 text message a day advertising my online business…it is amazing. I think they have free demos to try as well.
autotextsender (dot) com and autotextmailer (dot) com

Cold calling also works. I don’t get why they are treated as separate “professions” why can’t you be a cold calling networker? Instead of walking up to someone cold at a network event or tradeshow, you’re calling them up and making a similar kind of contact. Some will bite, some won’t, but you’ll still generate revenue.

Cold calling is very dead. Networking, meeting others, geeting connected is the only way it really works — people do business with people they know, like and trust. Get out there!

Totally Clever.. Well done.
Budget doesn’t matter when you have a good idea.

why would that be interesting? 99% of people work for other people. You might be an entrepreneur but you stupid and a condescending little shit
gissina | March 28th, 2009 at 5:28 pm #
This video is ridiculous!
As an entrepreneur or someone who is self-employed, this may be an option that must be undertaken. Open those minds, opportunities are missed when not - but shame for them.
I’d be interested to see the raise of hands for those who are chained zombies working for others, being told what to do, not happy with their lives and jobs, and thus enjoy things like this!

Ha! I’m cold calling for my party just for kicks tommorow. I just wanna piss off some Seniors In my hood and get some laugh’s

I’m so thankful to be told what to think. Thank you internet, you have shown me that innovation means doing what others tell me to do.

It’s also a paid stumble.

This video is one of the funniest I’ve seen in a looooonnnnggg time. It’s SO true that outbound marketing is OLD SCHOOL. I’ve been a bona fide social media, inbound marketer since I posted my first article on AOL in 1998. I’m pleased it’s finally becoming the standard! Great job, Hubspot!

wow hmm…u didn’t cheat at all…all the comments are coming from accounts with nothing on them and all the same age…if this won 5000 dollars…u need to give your money back
finalrune | March 28th, 2009 at 5:28 pm #
yeah, nicely done
shows how well a simple idea can work in video without a six-figure lighting budget. share! share! share!

What’s great about this is that Dan ain’t acting. I’ve personally seen him do this a thousand times. Go Dan Go!
marnipat | March 28th, 2009 at 5:28 pm #
Nice job! BTW, I don’t think Dan would care about going to a Red Sox game since he’s a Mets fan.

Coincidentally (wink)… HubSpot provides software and training so companies can start doing inbound marketing.
