Google Adsense Disabled My Account

26 Aug, 2009  |  Posted by  |  under Adsense

I can no longer log into my account and google claims the money I have previously earned will go back to the advertisers which is obviously no true. I dont think its fair that a big cooperation like google should take advantage of the users who are the ones earning the money. I hope this gets resolved.

Then get off your lazy ass and get a new job!
Dont make excuses and say that other people dont deserve things, when your being lazy!
People dont get jobs by complaining about what they have and dont have, they get them by going out and applying for them!
And maybe you should have thought about the stability of your finances before having a child.

Well for you it is bad, but I thought people do vids on youtube to not just make money, but they wanted to share with wold their knoledge. For me I have no incomes at all cause my spouse and I lost our jobs and I have a little baby who needs his diepers and stuff. And at the same time you spend money to buy some makeup. Some people out there can’t afford to buy bread to eat because they lost their jobs and you complaning about that.

And while he did put in time to make the videos, yes, he didn’t have to do much more than set up his camera and film his opinion on various things, then use a video editor to slap it all together. That’s not rocket science. And it’s not like a guy sitting in front of a camera doing a monologue screams high production costs. I’m just saying it’s not THAT much work to do. If he did stuff like communitychannel, then great, fine. It’s harder to manage. But he talks. In front of a camera.

Ergo, they have SOME reason to believe there’s been a legitimate breach of contract. Unfortunately the onus is on Ritchie to figure out why, and while that’s a bit of a bitch it’s also phenomenal that he used to make money by posting for free on a site that he did not have to work or pay for to maintain the back end of. Nor did he have to solicit advertisers for his site. Google did all the work there, they pay their people to do that work.

I reallyldo think that people should be GRATEFUL that they can make money on this site, let alone have the opportunity to even post videos like this, on a hosted site. You agree to having ads on your page, and yes, they agree to pay you. Here’s the rub: they wouldn’t cancel the agreement if there weren’t good cause on their end, because they’re lawyered up like you wouldn’t believe - they think there’s been a breach of contract in some way

I normally don’t comment but I do have to say that saying there is a culture of entitlement seems like a cop-out to me. It make sense to expect something when you are told it is going to happen. If a company says they are going to pay you for something and you abide by those rules, they should keep up their side of the bargain.

I am 37, by the way, so you can’t blame my thinking on these kids today.

If it wasn’t for Google, there would be no option to do this. He doesn’t have to find his own advertisers.

Also, I don’t think you should make videos or blog and EXPECT to get money for it. This whole ‘culture of entitlement’ thing is a real piss off.

Just to say it: “KIDS THESE DAYS!!”

Ummm, yeah. What are you talking about?

    a. Making YouTube videos is incredibly costly and time consuming.
    b. As for “a ‘job’ that he didn’t have to interview for.” He puts himself out there each time he makes a video and WE, the viewers, are judging and deciding to watch or not watch. Much harder than siting down in some tacky suit for 10 minutes to be interviewed for a ‘job’
    c. YouTube being FREE. They make money off our videos. Get it? YouTube gets paid for ads. No videos = no $ for Google

The only thing I can imagine is if one person has clicked on your ads lots of time and it gives the impression of click fraud.
Let us know how it goes.

i didn’t know that nickel decides the advertising clicks…i thought that comes on automatically. isn’t it the advertisers that put all the advertising? or is it the youtube channel holder? i am confused.
by advertising clicks , do u mean the advertising that pops up when the video starts?
