The Jing project is now a part of SnagIt developer TechSmith. The Jing team is also upgrading its free storage space on screencast.com from 200 megabytes to two gigs. freelinereport.com What’s interesting about the acquisition is that Jing, SnagIt and Camtasia Studio all perform similar functions. Judging by the documentation available on the Jing website, TechSmith will be marketing the three platforms in “tiers” - a “good, better, best” approach. I am currently downloading Jing as I type …
