if your looking for a better design, change the pvc barrel to abs and add about a foot to a foot and a half to the barrel length, some times abs doesent fit right with pvc though so you might have to file a little off the outside to get it to fit, (abs because its less flexable and makes a longer barrel less bendy and more accurate, also a 4 ft barrel mod would be fucking cool, way more power, but uh, you might need to make the gas chamber bigger if you do that, lol potato guns are so fun,,,,,

I made one yesterday evening. 2′, 2″ dia. barrel, 16″, 3″ dia. chamber, and came complete with a ban from the local college property for the following year.
