I used this approach back in the early nineties, before I got a PDA and I stopped. But there is value that an electronic device does not offer. I also used a simple folder and transferred the post-its so I could take them with me, when I needed to.
Nice one, dude! I have a feeling my post it’s will get out of hand real quick. But I’m gonna try it out this week for all my school/work stuff. Thanks for the tip
Great advice Perry! My variation: I use colored index cards that I get from the $ store. Each color represents a category & I only put one task on each card. Makes it easy for me to stack the cards according to priority & also to carry them with me on the fly if necessary. At the end of day, I drop the completed tasks in my “mission accomplished” basket. Best way I’ve found so far to keep my RAM clear!
I am a post it note nut. LOL.. I have them in all colors and the small ones are my favorite. My desk has them all over it and as I get it done. I toss it. I love that
Excellent idea, Perry! I also set my timer for 15 minutes at a time and when it goes off, I either set it again and continue or do a different task. It works for me, don’t know why.
