We didn’t change them because they are correct for new controllers. They are incorrect for older controllers. I am working on doing the printed tutorials right now that have the different types of controllers in them.

They are right but actually all controllers doesn’t have the same polarity but for this type of controllerboard it’s right

do you know a store were we can get the leds at
MyCustomXbox | May 28th, 2009 at 2:03 pm #
You get five. We’ve found that everybody always loses or breaks one, so it’s easier to just send out that one extra you are going to need.
MyCustomXbox | May 28th, 2009 at 2:03 pm #
You could, but you would have to send us an email requesting that.

say bro can you tell me were you got your solder iron at plzzzz
MyCustomXbox | May 28th, 2009 at 2:03 pm #
I always use solder with flux in it, but that is so that it is easier to manipulate. I would make sure you try to use something that is small.
nblax8 | May 28th, 2009 at 2:03 pm #

MyCustomXbox | May 28th, 2009 at 2:03 pm #
No it’s not the same. Sorry, I was trying to respond on my iPhone and I accidentally hit “spam” on your other message.
sniperisvash | May 28th, 2009 at 2:03 pm #
Sorry ment player 3
sniperisvash | May 28th, 2009 at 2:03 pm #
Question: Is the polarity the same on both CG and Matrix circut boards. I tried this before I saw your video, Only player2 is working
MyCustomXbox | May 28th, 2009 at 2:03 pm #
That’ll work great. Just be careful to not press on the board too long with that hot iron.
UnrealNate | May 28th, 2009 at 2:03 pm #
I have a 30-35W soldering iron, will that be fine?
MyCustomXbox | May 28th, 2009 at 2:03 pm #
Part 2 has the wiring diagram for the wireless controller. The whole process is the same, but the polarity is different for each LED on the wireless controller.
