Type in Google Keyword Tool 2. Type in a search term or phrase that fits the description of your site or web page. 3. In the advanced options bar select all languages and all countries to get global results, unless your targeting a specific area. You also want to select global monthly searches and estimated average CPC ( cost per click ). Estimated CPC is more for those who are looking at buying advertising on Google which will put your ad on the top page on the right hand side. 4. Scroll down the list of given keywords, and lookng at the competition ranking, global monthly searches, and traffic trends select the keywords that best fit for your site. Clicking on the keyword will also open it up on Google allowing you to see the number of listings, and the number of paid listings. Use quotations marks to see the actual number of sites that use that keyword on their site. Try to find keywords with the lowest number of listings with the highest number of global monthly visits. These visits don’t guarnetee you’ll get that number of hits, but your guarneteed to get some traffic from them. 5. Use the search trends button to see what keywords are related to the one you’ve selected and which countires search that term the most.
