Neda Agha Soltan (ندا آقا سلطان) was shot to death on 20.06.2009 by security forces during a protest (against Iranian Presidential Election 2009) in IRAN. yeah, i dont think its a left right issue. who is blaming obama for this happening? its not that hard to pick a side.
you just step up and say “i condemn the brutal use of force against a people.” democrats and republicans can do it. the hope for the iranian people has been a revolution from within. up untill 1979 iranians were moving towards a free society. i dont understand how this is a partisan issue. democrats deserve freedom also.

Republicans have screwed themselves up so badly until they’re taking every little thing they can to use it against Obama. Even this. Things like this have been happening everyday in Iran for a long time. Someone just happend to catch this on camera and put it on YouTube. It’s sad how people are using this lady’s death to throw punches at people “just to get them back.” How desperate can people get? All I can say is I’m glad McCain’s silly ass isn’t pres. b/c we’d def. be at war with Iran.

maybe the riot gear says police in english instead of farsi because it was bought in oakland ca. at a garage sale. maybe last years model or something. have you noticed the signs are in english. its like they want us to read them.

Alistarb25…all i could find is a trailer for the movie. and it looks like people did die. however upon closer inspection of the facts hollywood made that part up. not surprising.the only deaths i could find were that of a police chief and mayors career.
in conrast, neda is only one of at least 100 martyrs in a truely brutal struggle for freedom. not anarchy.
a real bullet from fascists killed neda not rubber pellets. so again i say, seriously?

And it wasn’t just 40 years ago that the American government was beating protesters to death, breaking their arms and spraying them with fire hoses (Which is fatal, because the pressure from the water can penetrate the skin and send air pockets through your blood at to your heart) and even today we have police killing “criminals” everyday for drug crimes, running away, ect. Put this into perspective. When will America stop acting like the police of the world and mind it’s own damn business.

seriously ? you really see a comparison to what is happening over there? im not a big fan of our overzealous law enforcement but we have checks and balances. i dont remember obama ordering police to shoot teaparty protesters or bush gunning down code pink. this is a fascist dictator who only values his own power. and he will answer for his sins. god willing sooner than later.
