I agree with your statement Ralph. Newspapers need to start listening to their audience. If the newspaper industry was a human body, then the audience would be the heart. The audience is what pumps blood through the industry. This can be said of any media/content intensive industry. - Jeff Wahdat, Marketing Consultant, Digital Paper. we did not create a product but we have created an audience and make it decide what it wanted

the plot of the first: you cannot predict the future as everything you predict is based on the knowledge you have at the moment but the information base changes and things became different

Arora’s description of newspapers that receive 5,000 letters to the editor, and then publish 5, to be thought provoking… Somewhere in that part of the message is the answer to the question about why would a media that was formerly so dominant, unable to adapt and leverage the web faster than they have to date. Part of the key to the decline of newspaper revenue is contained within that tidbit.

Wow, a dude with no charisma whatsoever tells a bunch of cliches. Plus he has a naughty language. He was boring and he didn’t tell anything new or revolutionary. Plus he was arrogant.
KoelCows | May 28th, 2009 at 4:48 am #
I agree about the topic on 18:57-20:00

watch out for 16:4x - I didn’t think his language would be so loose. Especially for a presentation on/for Google!
