Screencasting – Creating a Narrated PowerPoint with Jing

24 Jun, 2010  |  Posted by  |  under Uncategorized

Create narrated powerpoint presentations for your students – quickly and easily. Follow along as a screencast is made, where a short powerpoint presentation is narrated. The main points are to (1) keep your presentation short, (2) select a smaller screen area when possible – preferrably 640 x 480 or less, (3) making an accessible presentation benefits everybody, (4) use a high quality microphone in a quiet area, and (5) use your mouse arrow as a pointer to highlight important points – plus state it verbally to your students and perhaps use bold or a larger font to make the point stand out.
