   i’m just wondering why “cut the seo optimization crap”. link building is still considered as offpage or offsite SEO.

   Just posting social media links is not enough, those links are archived and lose value fast, I have tested this many times in controlled experiments.

   Long term structural contextual links you have to work hard to find are what count.

    ultimately yeah, more relative links will build your sites page rank but you need to use meta tags in the back of your site correctly, particularly the title, description and abstract sections in the source of your page.

    and you need to have plenty of relevant content, highlighting primary keywords you want to be found under without spamming, site maps will also help and links on your page leading to other pages will also build page rank, never put “click here” always put the “product name”!
