And I’m supposed to go where? I’m in a small town with nothing but bars and churches. Either way I won’t be meeting people who are very enlightened or accepting of my viewpoints. Not to mention I have no money to go to the bar and drink all night. I’m working on getting out of this town, but that will take years of saving money.

The passage actually says “I bring Prosperity and create disaster.” Isaiah 45:7 big difference in disaster and evil. God is not evil.
For ninjayang: Anger is one emotion God can feel. We have emotions and God has emotions. If someone hurts your family wouldn’t you be angry? Well when God is hurt he has every right and reason to be angry. Yes he can be hurt..not in the physical sense though. Our suffering is painful for him…just as it hurts me when my children get hurt.

Is that supposed to be a point? You just quoted from a book created by Man to explain God to other foolish men in search of something to believe in. It is not God’s word. God does not communicate with us through words. Why would a God who loves us create evil? It makes absolutely no sense. God IS love, not some ego-driven being playing games with us.

Why would you believe in a God who is angry. “Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret-it leads only to evil” (Psalm 37:8) Sounds like God is leading Himself to evil. Of course, God is not a “Him,” and God knows there is no such thing as Satan. Satan was created by man just like the Biblical view of God that says God is a vengeful man who created us all so he could burn 99% of Hell, because obviously most of will have believed in a false religion, despite our best intentions.

you hit the nail on the head with that one! I never met a successful person who disagreed with Anthony Robbins. The funny thing is that most of what he teaches in common sense. Like writing down your goals and remaining focused on them. He’s not offering the magic pill, he’s just reminding people to stay on track with what they want and people call him a crook ha!
