Viral Campaign by mW-Media. The clients requirements where to increase the fan base and user engagement. Fan Base: First step we decided to install a fan gate to encourage visitors to “Like” the page. The offer was to give users a free photoshoot to encourage participation. Second we added simple sharing buttons to make it easy for users to post it to their wall, giving a viral effect. Finally we made it simple for users to take action and book their photoshoot to encourage direct sales conversions as a direct result of the campaign. User Engagement: We installed a Photo Showcase to allow Happy Stork Photography to showcase their photos and again by installing simple share/buy buttons allowing the end user a simple method to share the work adding to the viral nature of this campaign. The buy buttons took users through to an email so they could take direct action and organise their photoshoot, again giving the option of converting sales directly from the campaign. End result is the fan base has been increased from 60 users in March 2011 to around 600 and of April 2011. User engagement is around 500/month active users and growing.
