I think this is great–but Gary, dude, please watch the age-ism. Not everyone who’s 70 is a douchebag. There are plenty of 70-year-olds who were early adopters of the web, and plenty more getting it these days.

Exactly — your product is YOU, especially in 09 and 10. People respond when you really do give a shit. Use a bit of affiliate marketing to supplement, but take the time to READ what you’re promoting… actually try it first. Yeah, you can make millions promoting shit, but hey… I want to sleep at night and respect the guy I see in the mirror.

    Rock on Gary!

Yep, you can also use the basic affiliate marketing stuff to earn a little money for a living and start working on your passions - that’s the way I do it.

It’s also a cool feeling to work for having a life instead of a living, I could quit any day. But I stay at my passions and use Elance etc for crap I really don’t need to do. :)

yeh man u got a point, on the web it’s possible to build a business u have 0 passion about but that rakes in cash by outsourcing most of the work. Just look at the whole affiliate marketing game for PROOF of that shit.

Despite that, no doubt that Gary absolutely rocks and his message is still as relevant, cos If you really want to make an impact and leave a legacy which I sure as hell do you gotta run with your PASSION, you gotta come from the heart and give it 100%

Hey guys, what is he talking about when he’s mentioning “tools” like twitter..?” (approx 10:01 - 10:15) And what else? It sounds like Pounge and Jaicoo? What kind of tools are those? Thanks. I just can’t hear what he says. It’s by the way a great inspiring video :).
